Dane Whitleston – Keeper .  New signing, made debut against Gedling in February 2007. Has experience from playing at Garforth amongst others.

Ben Simpson – Keeper .  Playing his first full season at this level last term, Ben had a mixed season. But is expected to fulfill his potential.  

Mike Betteny - Defender .  Signed from Rossington Main and made his debut at Hall Road   in the Vase.  Looks strong and solid at full-back.

Steve Robinson – Defender .  Rangers Captain Fantastic last year. Used his experience from playing at Bridlington and North Ferriby to bring on the youngsters around him as well as leading by example.

Billy Green - Defender .  In his tenth season at Rangers after signing from Appleby Frodingham. A consistent performer who converted to right back last term. Now Rangers old stager, but strong tackling and competitive in the air, Billy is very fit and keeps producing performances that say pick me.   

Matty Plant – Defender .  Recent signing from Parkgate, has played for Rangers under a previous manager.  Given that much needed height to the back four.  Grabbed a couple of goals as well.

James Atkinson – Defender .  Signing from Hall Road Rangers last season, Settled well into central defence alongside Steve Robinson.

Luke Smithson – Defender .  Luke has been around the club a couple of seasons has played in midfield and at full back but prefers a central defensive role.

Mark Whitehouse – Midfield .  Brought from Pete Daniel’s old club Pontefract, Mark has improved with each game, has become a regular on the left of midfield, and is a real threat as he runs at defences.  Has slotted in at left back on a number of occasions.

Dave Ricardo – Midfield .  Combative midfielder, strong in the tackle Dave can play the holding role and is good on the ball.  Previous clubs include Beverley Town and Hall Road Rangers. Lost his place midway through last term, but showed real grit and determination to end the season with some good performances.

Greg Archer – Midfield.  Signed from Worksop   Town   and made his debut in the FA Vase against Glasshoughton.

Steven Underwood – Midfield .  Signed from Bridlington, Ex Halifax Town, North Ferriby and Harrogate Town player.  Works tirelessly and adds some extra quality to the midfield.

Craig Sharpless – Midfield .  Craig had a good pre season where he looked a good prospect last year, then injury struck meaning only a few outings. Again has looked good in pre-season at full back and will be pressing for a starting spot.  

Andy Catton – Midfield .  Signed from Pontefract.  Has started on the right side of midfield with some quality performances.  Chips in with some important goals.

Danny Clarke – Midfield .  Ex-Hull City Junior, has impressed in the centre of the pitch. Very good feet, and a good engine, can get from box to box all game. 

Andy Holt – Midfield/Forward .  Came from Appleby Frodingham and started as a midfielder, but has been given a role up front and grasped it with both hands. A real find. Very strong and hard working.

Rob Northen – Forward .  Signed from North Ferriby and has been a revelation, very quick and an eye for goal. Finished second top scorer in the league last year by one goal.  Very exciting.

Callum Dransfield – Striker .  Another signing from Hall Road Rangers.  His goals from the bench gives a nice selection headache for the manager.

Steve Ward – Striker.  New signing from Tadcaster  who will press for a first team berth. Good touch and very mobile and strong, shown well in his games so far.

Lee Mohammed – Midfield/Striker .  New signing pre-season, looks like a quality find, only young but very promising. Scored an accomplished goal at Dinnington and we look forward to seeing more back flip celebrations.
